Pumpkin & Carrot Dog Treats
A wholesome, meat-free treat packed with vitamins from pumpkin, carrots, and apples to support your pup’s health.
Ingredients:
½ cup pumpkin puree
¼ cup shredded carrots
¼ cup shredded apple
1 beaten egg
Pinch of cinnamon
1 ½ cups chickpea flour
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
Roll dough on a floured surface to half an inch thick, then cut into shapes.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
Blueberry & Yogurt Frozen Dog Treats
A refreshing, antioxidant-rich snack—just like a smoothie, but for your pup!
Ingredients:
4 oz yogurt
4 oz water
½ cup blueberries
Directions:
Whisk yogurt and water together. For a creamier texture, use more yogurt and less water.
Pour mixture into dog treat molds, leaving space for blueberries.
Add blueberries to each mold and freeze until solid.
Chicken & Carrot Popsicles
A savory frozen treat packed with flavor and nutrients—your pup will love every bite!
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or leg quarters
2 large carrots, shredded
Pinch of turmeric
Pinch of ginger
Directions:
Poach chicken in enough water to cover until fully cooked.
Add shredded carrots and let the broth cool.
Remove chicken, shred into small pieces, and return to the broth.
Stir in turmeric and ginger.
Pour into a muffin tin or mold and freeze overnight.
Before serving, warm slightly to easily remove from the mold.
Gingerbread Dog Cookies
A festive, grain-free treat your pup can enjoy! Packed with the benefits of ginger and a hint of sweetness, these cookies are perfect for the holidays.
Ingredients:
2 ½ cups chickpea flour
1 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp ground ginger
Honey (¼ tsp per 20 lbs of weight)*
½ cup warm water
¼ cup flaxseed or MCT oil
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°F.
In a large bowl, mix flour, ginger, and cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, combine honey, oil, and warm water.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until smooth.
Roll out dough to about ½-inch thick and cut into shapes.
Lightly grease a baking sheet and place cookies on it.
Bake for 20 minutes, then let them cool completely before serving.
*Note: Do not give honey to puppies under 1 year old. Raw honey can contain spores of Clostridium botulinum, the bacteria that causes botulism, a potentially fatal neurological disease.
Peanut Butter Banana Bites
A tasty, no-bake treat your pup will love! Packed with peanut butter, bananas, and oats, these frozen bites are both nutritious and delicious.
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
½ cup natural, unsalted peanut butter
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (low-fat or non-fat)
1 Tbsp honey
½ cup old-fashioned oats
¼ cup finely chopped carrots (optional)
¼ cup finely chopped blueberries (optional)
¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)
Directions:
Mash bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Add peanut butter, Greek yogurt, and honey. Mix well.
Stir in oats to create a dough-like consistency. Fold in carrots and blueberries if using.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Form small bite-sized portions and place them on the sheet. Roll in shredded coconut for extra texture if desired.
Freeze for 1-2 hours until firm.
Store in an airtight container or ziplock bag in the freezer. Serve cold for a refreshing treat!
